A trip to this place... Just hours before you should be leaving for the Thanksgiving holiday...
In case you were wondering:
1. Cel phones are not washable.
2. No. It wasn't time for the upgrade.
3. Yes. I did have the insurance. (Please, this is ME we're talking about here.)
4. I realized it when I opened the lid to take the clothes and toss them in the dryer.
5. No, I didn't put it in the dryer.
6. I am beginning to laugh about it now. 6 days later. Beginning.

I washed our TV remote when I washed the bed sheets. It is also not machine washable. I think my favorite is people asking me "Well, why did you do that?" I just look at them...it is all I can do to not slap them in the face and say "Because I am afraid of germs...don't YOU voluntarily put your electronics in the washing machine?"
I too have learned the importance of the insurance on the cell phone, yep the hard way. On the bright side, my flash drive has survived the washer and the dryer, with all my school papers and presentations still on it unscathed. I believe those things are indestructible. If that is the case, I'd like a cell phone made out of that please.
