I am moving. Changing houses. In one week.
And to prepare myself today, I did... nothing!
Well, I did plenty. Just nothing related to the move. OK, I lied. I did get a few boxes. Hold your excitement.
I also slipped and fell in the parking lot of the Commissary. Nothing hurt. Just my PRIDE. Thankfully, because of the rain, there weren't many people there.
OK. Back to the boxes. I don't even really NEED the boxes... the Army is doing all the moving for us. But, if you know my feelings on that...
You will know that I am moving some things myself. (That means tossing them into a box and driving them to my new neighborhood and putting them on the floor and doing it all over again about 50 times.) I am allowed to toss my own things, because I toss carefully. Movers do not know how to toss carefully.
Yesterday was a fun-filled Mother's Day!
After church, I flaked out on the couch. Once again... priorities.
We also went out to dinner with some friends to celebrate Mother's Day. To be rather honest, it wasn't at all what I'd envisioned my evening to be. But, it ended up being perfect fun.
Not really sure what came over our kids, but the dancing started on the playground.
And when I say "dancing," I mean some serious booty shakin'. (Skinny booty shakin'... they are all lacking in the booty department.
I think this was the "Robot" maybe?
And... the dancing continued inside. Tableside. Thank the Lord - this is the type of place that encourages rowdy behavior.
There were diners taking pictures, diners laughing and pointing, diners clapping along, and diners who probably wished they'd dined somewhere else last night. Mercy.

All in all, a nice Mother's Day. Cause not much makes this mama any happier than seeing her boy having a good time. Priorities, folks.

That dancin' boy takes after his Pops...well actually I don't think Pops can do the robot. We love you and are keeping you in our prayers.

Glad you had a Happy Mother's Day! Are you still wearing the flip-flops you had on when you fell? Love ya!
